Hanover's first game this summer will be between Italy and Ghana on 12 June.
Hanover's newly renovated Niedersachsenstadion is one of four World Cup grounds that England will not be playing at this summer.
Originally completed in 1954, England's only ever visit here was in 1968 - a deflected Franz Beckenbauer strike eight minutes from time earned West Germany a 1-0 friendly win.
In order to prepare for the World Cup, building work began in 2003 and the stadium now features a free-standing, roof supporting structure.
Italy and Ghana meet here on 12 June for the stadium's first match of World Cup 2006 with three more Group games to follow. The final game in Hanover this summer will be between the Winner of Group H and the Runners-up in Group G.
