Berlin's Olympiastadion hosts the 2006 World Cup Final. Will England be there?
Berlin
Everyone connected with the England team will be hoping for a successful night in Berlin if, or even when, Sven's men arrive at the Olympiastadion.
Though the Three Lions aren't scheduled to play there yet, the intention is to lift the FIFA World Cup Trophy in Berlin on 9 July. Their route will also take them through the capital should they finish Runners-Up of Group B.
As well as hosting the final showpiece this year, Berlin's Olympic Stadium will hold five other games, and it certainly has the experience of staging huge events.
Week in, week out, Hertha Berlin's fans squeeze into the ground which was originally built in time for the 1936 Olympic Games. Jesse Owens claimed four gold medals that year, then in 1974 the ground staged three World Cup games. Since 1985 it's also been the home of the German Cup Final.
Six years ago, reconstruction began to prepare the Olympiastadion for the 2006 World Cup and the new ground opened in spectacular style in 2004.
The rebuilding project was primarily aimed at optimising functionality and spectator comfort; practically all the seats are covered, whereas previously only 27,000 seats were protected from the elements.
