The FA's President visited England's pre-World Cup training base in Manchester.

Prince William, The President of The FA, was in Manchester today to meet up with England's World Cup squad.

During a relaxed afternoon at England's training base at Carrington, and at their hotel, Prince William talked to players, coaching staff and a number of fans who were there to watch the training session.

England striker Wayne Rooney spoke at length to the Prince whilst watching from the sidelines, before Sven welcomed him onto the pitch to chat with the rest of the squad.

Peter Crouch was asked to perform his goal celebration dance, which he duly obliged, then Prince William moved on to speak to Michael Owen, Joe Cole and Sol Campbell.
