Quarter-Finals
Everton 1-2 Chelsea
Chelsea are through to the semi-finals of a national competition for the first time, after recording an excellent 2-1 victory away to Everton. All the goals came in the first-half, Ellen White and Jodian Clarke on target for the visitors, before Fara Williams pulled a goal back.
Leeds United 2-1 Millwall Lionesses
Leeds led Millwall 1-0 at half-time through a Karen Burke penalty and went onto secure their place in the last four with a 2-1 victory over the Southern Division underdogs. But it took a late Sue Smith goal to see off Millwall, who were level soon after the restart, through Harley Bennett.
Lincoln City 0-6 Charlton Athletic
Holders, Charlton Athletic continued their defence of the league cup, adding four second-half goals to a 2-0 interval lead at Lincoln. Natasha Dowie and Eniola Aluko scored toward the end of the first-half, Aluko made it 3-0 after 67 minutes and Dowie stretched her tally to four.
"On the day we were beaten by a physically stronger and fitter team," said Imps Manager Rod Wilson. "We acquitted ourselves well for 35 minutes and matched Charlton, but then a lapse in concentration cost us. I don't think we deserved to lose 6-0 but nevertheless each player has to work hard to build up their own core strength in order to compete at a higher tempo.
" We will pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down and regroup to play a far more important game in our season - in terms of League success - next week, against Tranmere. Winning the Northern Division title has always been our ultimate goal this season, and we must not be distracted from that" he said.
Arsenal's quarter final fixture against Nottingham Forest is scheduled for Sunday 19 November.
