22 October 2005 Birmingham City v Leeds United: Highlights Birmingham's Karen Carney talks through the action in her side's exciting 3-3 draw with Leeds United. Everton returned to the top of The FA Nationwide Women's Premier League, after a 5-2 home win against Fulham. Jody Handley bagged a quick fire brace after 23 and 27 minutes to continue her rich goalscoring form.Justine Lorton swiftly replied from the penalty spot but Everton midfielder Kelly McDougall scored to send the Toffees in 3-1 at half-time. England U19 international Michelle Evans added a fourth at the start of the second half, Dunia Susi responding for Fulham four minutes later but Evans' second on 65 minutes wrapped up the victory for Mo Marley's side.Sunderland's match with Charlton Athletic, was rained off, whilst the other two National Division games ended all square with points gained for the bottom two teams. Birmingham City took just their second point, sharing six goals with Leeds United. Karen Carney have the Blues an 18th minute advantage but Leeds were 2-1 leaders at the break thanks to goals from Lucy Ward and Jess Clarke. Sue Smith extended their lead on 65 minutes but City struck twice in the final nine minutes. Marie Ballard gave them hope but new signing Dani Bird - who moved from Bristol Academy in midweek - levelled with two minutes to play. Bristol Academy were held again, to a goalless draw at Chelsea.
