The Herefordshire FA in association with Futsal Hereford is pleased to announce a new Girls Futsal Technical and Skills Coaching Development Centre.
The centre is for girls aged 10-16 who can now learn how to play Futsal, as well as the techniques and skills associated with it.
The centre will be held at the Royal National College for the Blind on their official Futsal astroturf pitch, commencing on Wednesday 5 April, between 6pm and 8.15pm.
This is the first Girls only Futsal Coaching centre in the country and will run for nine weeks until 14 June. Coaching will be conducted by FA qualified Futsal Coaches.
Futsal is a small-sided game, sanctioned by FIFA and the FA, which develops close ball skills through an increased number of touches during the game. It builds skill levels, creativity and confidence.
“The training is very positive and the players have a ball at their feet all of the time, becoming as comfortable as possible and developing a complete mastery of it" said Alexis Lunn.
