Kate Longhurst will be hoping to add to her goals tally
U17s go Dutch
Wednesday, 10 May 2006.
Head Coach Lois Fidler has named her latest squad to take on Holland on Saturday 20 May at the Oosterenk Stadium in Zwolle.
Followers of the women's game will notice that the same stadium saw Hope Powell's senior side take three points back in November, when an Amanda Barr penalty kept England's World Cup dreams alive.
The players in Lois's squad will be hoping to emulate the achievements of their senior counterparts in a game which kicks off at 1pm local time.
They will also be further motivated by the knowledge that Mo Marley is keeping an eye on the game, with a view to next season's European U19 Championship qualifiers less than six months away.
