During the past 18 months England U15s have played international friendlies against Germany and Wales, which have since seen some of the players move up to the U17s squad. The U15s camp provides a fantastic base and introduction for the players at International level.

The players learn about the roles and responsibilities, requirements and demands of an international player, as well as the levels of technical and tactical requirement at that level.

Head Coach Kay CossingtonI has also previously been assistant coach at U17 and U19 age groups, and recently assisted the U19s during their European qualification in Lithuania. Cossington has been part of the international scouting team for the past four years, but recently concentrating on the younger age group during the regional talent identification camps.

Players are watched around the country on a weekly basis at their centre of excellence, reports are written on players that show potential and are collated by England Women's Chief Scout Alan May. A squad of 30 are selected to attend a training camp. The selection is based on players that have been scouted by the coaching staff and also the reports written on scouted players.

18 players are then selected from the training camp to play in an International friendly. This cycle continues throughout the year, All players that come through the system are closley monitored back at their centres of clubs.
