Goalkeeper Leanne is a Sheffield Wednesday fan and played for Wednesday Ladies from the age of 11 until joining Doncaster Belles at 15.
She was one of the first intakes at The FA’s national football academy – The FA National Player Development Centre at Loughborough University, combining further education with a football scholarship.
In the summer, Leanne made the switch to semi-professional football with Fulham Ladies. This is her first recall to the England camp after a year out, after suffering a broken leg initially and then playing her way back into Hope Powell’s squad.
Her last cap was against The Netherlands on September 22 2004.
