Kelly feels that the scoreline was an unfair reflection of the game.

It has been a week since we got back from the Germany trip and I'm gone straight back into work at the academy, I'm also preparing for the semi final of the UEFA Cup when we play Brondby on Saturday. So it's all go!!!!
The feeling after the Germany game was somewhat of a disappointment as none of us really felt like they were four goals better than us on the night.
I think that a great lesson that was learned from the game was that we need to be more clinical in front of goal, if we only get one or two chances in a game we need to take them - playing against the World Champions, they will punish you if you don't take your chances.
We also conceded three goals from set pieces and I feel this is a part of our team game that needs more work and better concentration. I hate the feeling of losing, it grinds away at me all night and with England we haven't been used to feeling that for over a year.
Its amazing how high we were after the France game, everyone was ecstatic after qualifying for the World Cup, and then we were brought down to earth having been beaten in Germany.
But when you reflect back on the game I think we did ourselves justice, especially in the first half, we competed and matched them in every department. I am waiting to receive the DVD of the game from our computer analyst to really go over and analyse our team performance and my individual performance.
We have been told by the coaching staff that this is a crucial tool in learning what we do well in games, looking at our mistakes we can also see where we need to improve.
This coming year will be crucial for us as we hope to play the top teams in the world and learn as much as possible from our performances.
We have no more international games now till the new year. Its going to be a whirlwind as soon as January comes around and I cannot wait to get started.
Bring it on!!!!!!
