Well I am feeling a lot better since the last time I spoke to you as my injured hand is getting better. I had an X-Ray last week and the doctors said that it was healing fine.

The news from the hospital was brilliant for me. I am delighted and I could even be ready for tonight’s game against the Czech Republic at Walsall. I haven’t played football for about a month now so it would be great for me to get a bit of a run out before the UEFA Women’s European Championship finals begin.

I am really up for it and I am not scared to go in for tackles now which is good so I think I should be alright and I am looking forward to getting back to normal.

I am with the England squad once again and things are going really well. The squad are now getting excited because the start of the tournament is only ten or eleven days away. But things have pretty much started for us already.

We have been together since last Wednesday, we go home after the game on Thursday and then we meet up once again on Monday and carry on preparations until our opening game against Finland on 5 June.

Everything is going well, the team bonding and spirit is fantastic so it’s looking good.

We can’t wait to face the Czech’s tonight and are hoping to keep our excellent run of form going. We have won eight of our last nine games which is a record since The FA took over, so confidence is high. Winning is fantastic and every single one of us want to keep that feeling going.

I can’t believe Women's Euro 2005 is so close now.

It seems like it has taken forever to come round. I am excited and just really happy that I got picked for the final 20. It must have been very hard for Hope Powell, the England manager, to pick the final squad because every single player we had in the original squad of 30 were fantastic.

We will take one game as it comes (I know it's a cliché!) but we want to do well as a team and I think we will.

I will speak to you soon.
