England Women’s football coach, Hope Powell has announced her squad for the game against Norway at Barnsley’s Oakwell home, which kicks off at 7.45pm next Friday 6 May.

The match is England’s penultimate warm-up game before the Women’s Euro 2005 tournament this summer - and is another chance for the players to turn in an impressive performance to secure their places in the final tournament squad– against the Norwegians who are fellow Finalists.

Included in the 30-player squad is Arsenal’s Kelly Smith, who marked her return to action last Sunday with a sublime goal to seal the Premier League Title for the Gunners, and will be looking for a return to the starting eleven.

Charlton Athletic's teenage striker Eniola Aluko withdrew from the squad for this fixture on Friday afternoon with the blessing of Head Coach Hope Powell as she enters the final month of her 'A' Level studies, and has been replaced by Birmingham City's Jo Potter.
