Needham Market are still chasing glory on four fronts this season, but their priority this weekend is winning a trip to Wembley via The FA Vase.

They have already reached the finals of the Eastern Regional cup, the Suffolk Premier League cup and are also bidding for promotion to the fourth tier of the Ridgeons Premier Division.

Now for the big one!

Needham trail Kirkham and Wesham 3-2 after last week's first leg Vase Semi-Final tie and are hoping home advantage will make all the difference this Saturday as they seek a victory.

"We've got a good honest team, we work hard for each other and we've got a point to prove after the first match," said manager Danny Laws.

"The weather was a big factor in the away tie as we played with the wind in our face.

"And we only had one hundred fans to their thousand - we were outnumbered 10 to 1. This is a very big game and we need the fans behind us.

"We have a lot of games and just have to deal with these games and take each match as it comes. I am confident we have the squad to cope."

The average age of Needham Market's team is 25 but they have a lot of experience in their oldest player - captain Mark 'Binzie' Daley, who is 35.

For this game they welcome back leading goalscorer Craig Parker, who will be hoping to add to his 32 for the season. Also in contention after injury is defender, Scott Walker, nephew of Ipswich legend John Walker.
