Ebbsfleet United are a club facing significant change. Formerly known as Gravesend and Northfleet, the club changed its name last summer to associate themselves with a massive regeneration scheme that included a new multi-million Eurostar terminal.
A sponsorship deal with Eurostar soon followed and the club have recently been acquired by fans' website Myfootballclub.com, whose 28,000 members have raised over £1 million, in return for an equal vote on club issues.
The Conference Premier club travel to face Nigel Clough's Burton Albion this weekend, in the Fourth Round of The FA Trophy, with manager Liam Daish saying the changes have not affected his role at the club and he insists his side are just taking one game at a time.
"It hasn't changed at all yet," he said.
"We've just carried on as normal and we're in good form.
"We've got potential but that's all it is. Obviously the money coming into the club gives us a chance of being more successful but nothing is guaranteed in football.
"The players have been magnificent. They've come in to work hard every day and do their shift and as a team, we're very focused on what we are doing.
"We've progressed as a club and we've got a stronger squad than last season and we're pushing ourselves forward."
Ebbsfleet lie ninth in the Conference Premier, eight points from the play-off positions, and Daish insists that the club will attack both competitions with intent.
"We're not in a position to prioritise competitions," he added.
"The next game is the priority for us and that's Burton. We won't be thinking about the league come Saturday. We know that we can beat anyone on our day and we want achieve everything that we can on all fronts."
"We've got ourselves into a position where we can achieve something massive and we've got to make the most of the opportunity."
