York City hope to continue a fine run of form when they travel to Nene Park to face Rushden & Diamonds in The FA Trophy Fourth Round on Saturday.
City have lost just once in 18 matches and manager Colin Walker, a former New Zealand international, who took over from Billy McEwan last November, admits his side have enjoyed a remarkable change in fortunes.
"It's been unbelievable really," said Walker. "In mid-November I was a reserve team manager and we were struggling in the league. Now there's a chance we could take the team to Wembley.
"It doesn't make sense. In football anything can happen and we've proved that.
"To take the team to Wembley would be the proudest moment of my life. I can't put into words what that would be like."
Walker is also struggling to squeeze all of his goalscoring talent into the starting line-up. Strikers Onome Sodje and Craig Farrell have each scored 14 goals this season while Martyn Woolford has got 13 from midfield.
Those goals have helped York rise strongly up the Conference and Walker insists his side will go to Rushden with an attacking mindset.
"This year the goals that we have scored have been spread around the team and it makes it difficult for me because it's hard to fit everyone into the team," he added.
"But it's a nice problem to have.We only look to play one way. We look to be positive.
"With the players we've got it would be silly to go there and sit back so I want us to go and do our own thing. Every game we play we think we can win."
