The FA Carlsberg Trophy
Second Round proper
Saturday 12 January 2008
Winning clubs receive £5,000

Dorchester Town were rewarded for knocking out holders Stevenage Borough with a home tie against Ebbsfleet United when the draw for the Second Round of The FA Trophy was made at Soho Square on Monday.

The Dorset based side dumped Borough out in dramatic style, Jon Docker's penalty enough to seal a last minute victory, and they will fancy themselves after being handed home advantage.

Conference leaders Aldershot were paired with local rivals Woking in an intriguing battle that will take place at Kingfield.

Torquay have enjoyed success in cup competitions this season, their 4-1 win over Yeovil in the First Round of The FA Cup one of the upsets of the competition.

Their league form has been excellent too, as second place in the Conference would suggest. But their attention will be firmly on the Trophy next month when they travel to Newport County.

Burton Albion are in the top six of the Conference and will be favourites to progress after drawing Vauxhall Motors.

Grays Athletic, winners in 2005 and 2006, have been drawn away at York City.

Bishop's Stortford, who hit eight goals in the First Round against Canvey Island, will play the winners of Halifax Town or Leamington.
