Sheffield FC, the world's oldest football club, were handed a home tie in the FA Trophy Second Round Qualifying draw made at Soho Square today.
The club celebrating its 150th anniversary this year will host Kendal Town from the UniBond Premier, a division above them.
Two recent Trophy winners appeared in the draw. Canvey Island, who edged Forest Green Rovers 1-0 in the 2001 Final at Villa Park, go to the winners of tomorrow's replay between Harlow Town and Brentwood Town. Hednesford Town, who beat Canvey 3-2 at Villa three years later, entertain Guiseley.
A Wembley crowd of more than 32,000 saw Witton Albion go down to Colchester United in the 1992 Final. The Albion's opponents in the Second Round Qualifying are Stocksbridge Park Steels at Look Local Stadium - it was the first pairing to come out of the bag.
Ware of the Ryman Division One North are having an outstanding season. They are one win away from lining up in The FA Cup's First Round Proper for the first time since 1968, are handily placed in the league with games in hand and had a brilliant 4-1 Trophy win against Ashford Town (Middx) on Saturday.
Today's Trophy draw sends the Hertfordshire side to Burnham of the BGB Division One South & West, last-minute winners at Tiverton Town on Saturday.
The 36 ties are scheduled for Saturday, 3 November.
