Stevenage's match-winner was unable to find the words to describe the feeling after scoring the goal that decided The FA Trophy Final.
Steve Morison netted with just two minutes on the clock to complete a memorable comeback in the first competitive fixture at the new stadium, and he was understandably at a loss for words.
"I can't explain how it feels, I can't describe scoring a goal anytime let alone at Wembley in front of 50,000 people," Morison said after the final whistle.
"The boys out there were all part of it, it was a tremendous effort. I just did what I'm paid to do and that's score goals.
"It's absolutely unbelievable to have scored the winner, but to be honest if I hadn't scored that chance I don't think any of my teammates would have spoken to me."
Morison was also quick to praise the remarkable support that he and his teammates had from the Stevenage faithful. In the biggest ever crowd for an FA Trophy Final, beating the previous record by 20,000, both sets of fans were part of a truly special atmosphere.
"The support out there was fantastic, we like to give them a game and show them some excitement, and it's not the first time we've done that to them this season.
"Hopefully they enjoyed their time at Wembley and they'll go home tonight and party."
On the stadium itself Morison was equally effluent in his description, and was particularly complimentary on the dressing room facilities.
"Wembley is absolutely top class, I've just had a bath - I've never had a bath after a football match in my life.
"It was absolutely superb in every way, I had my own cubby hole in the dressing room to keep all my clothes and kit clean.
"It means so much to the boys and especially Mark Stimson, three in a row for him is incredible.
"Hopefully we'll be back here next year."
