Harry Redknapp is wary of his Portsmouth side being considered as favourites to win The FA Cup and will be taking nothing for granted against promotion-chasing Championship side West Bromwich Albion in the Semi-Final.

As the only remaining Premier League side left in the competition, Portsmouth are now odds-on with the bookies to lift the famous trophy for the first time since 1939.

But Redknapp, whose team produced a major shock of their own in the Sixth Round by beating Manchester United at Old Trafford, is shrewd enough to know that Tony Mowbray's side represent a major threat.

"It was strange," mused Redknapp.

"Before Saturday, everyone would have looked at the draw and thought the Semi-Finals would include Manchester United, Chelsea and West Brom.

"But as it turned out West Brom were the only favourites to get through their tie, so it is still all to play for.

"West Brom are a good side. They've been terrific this season and play some top football. Tony Mowbray's done a great job with them and they are a big club, so it is bound to be a tough game.

"Kevin Phillips is still a fantastic striker. Dean Kiely is a top keeper and played a big part in keeping us up when I first came back to Fratton Park.

"All the sides left in have their own qualities. West Brom went to Bristol Rovers and whacked in five goals against a side on a great run. And they also scored five at Coventry, too."
