FA Cup football returns this Saturday and Enfield Town will hope to make full use of home advantage as they take on Hillingdon Borough in the Second Qualifying Round.
This will be Town's fourth match in the competition this season after previously beating AFC Hayes and then overcoming Rothwell Town on penalties in a replay.
They have made a solid start in the Ryman League Division One North and currently lie in sixth position so will be looking to take that form into the Cup.
This is only their fifth season in The FA Cup after the club were founded in 2001 by the Enfield Supporters’ Trust.
Club Secretary Peter Coath said: "Cup competitions are a completely different story. While the league is important to us, it is mundane compared to the glory of The FA Cup."
Coath welcomes the home draw and also the fact that his side are favourites to progress, which has been something of a rarity in the club's short history so far.
"In our first few cup campaigns we have often found ourselves to be the underdogs,” he explained.
But while there is plenty of expectancy in league and cup, Coath stresses that the fans shouldn't forget just how far the side have come so soon.
"Expectations are bigger than they should be," he said. "They're learning that things don't happen straight away. Don't forget we were in the Essex Senior League for four years.
"Home crowds haven't got bigger, so we will hope that by hosting this match we will get as many people in as possible."
