Milan Baros is delighted at the prospect of lining up for The FA Cup Final this Saturday, so soon after joining Portsmouth.

The Czech Republic international signed for the Premiership side on loan from Lyon in January and confessed he did not expect to be going to Wembley when he arrived.

"I don't think anyone was expecting us to be in The Final when you get Manchester United away in the quarter final," he said.

Portsmouth triumphed 1-0 over United and then beat West Bromwich Albion by the same margin in the Semi-Final and Baros hopes that there is one more victory to come this Saturday against Cardiff City at Wembley.

"We deserve to be in The Final. We have played good football in the league, we have played good football in The FA Cup as well and we have to make sure we finish it off.

"We have the confidence now, so we have to make sure we come here and lift up the trophy in the end."

Baros, who set up Kanu's winning goal against West Brom, is now eager to win The Cup to reward the Portsmouth fans for their support throughout the year.

"The fans have been great all season," he added.

"To win The Final will be something special for them, of course."
