Runcorn Linnets clinched their first ever FA Cup victory with a nail biting 3-2 win over Rossington Main in their Extra Preliminary Round clash at Wincham Park.
The Vodkat League side took the lead in the 32nd minute through Dave Thompson, before Michael Morrison claimed his first goal for the club just six minutes later.
Runcorn continued to dominate and Nerhu McKenzie added a third to give the home side a sizeable advantage.
But Rossington rallied in the second half, fighting back to 3-2 with just one minute remaining before home goalkeeper Robbie Holcroft produced a stunning save to ensure his side progressed.
Elsewhere, Pickering Town cruised into the next round with a 4-1 win over Liversedge, while Erith & Belvedere were also big winners, scoring four times without reply against Lancing FC.
Ramsbottom, Romford, Arundel and Hatfield all won their fixtures comfortably, but Darlington Railway Athletic were made to sweat before escaping with a narrow 3-2 victory in a thrilling contest at Bishop Auckland.
Kingsbury London Lions secured their place in the next round with a narrow 1-0 home win over Sheffield side Hallam FC.
Two ties are yet to be decided with Glasshoughton Welfare failing to make the most of home advantage after being held to a 2-2 draw by Billingham Synthonia, while Kentish Town will also need a replay after drawing 1-1 with Wellingborough Town in Camden.
