Preliminary Round
Saturday 30 August 2008
Winning clubs will receive £1,500 from The FA

Stone Dominoes manager Sean Hollinsbury wants to banish the demons of last season when his side faces Rainworth Miners Welfare in the Preliminary Round of The FA Cup on Saturday.

Staffordshire-based Dominoes fell to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Rainworth at the same stage of the competition a year ago and Hollinsbury wants revenge.

"We will definitely be looking to get them back for beating us. I really want a win this Saturday," he said.

"We are in good form and are geared up for the game."

Hollinsbury will be boosted by the return of goalkeeper James Hall but assistant player-manager Jamie Cartwright remains sidelined.

"It's great to have James back but Jamie will be out for a while - he has an ankle ligament problem which is a bit of a blow," Hollinsbury continued.

Rainworth themselves are no strangers to famous cup runs - they reached The Final of The FA Vase in 1982, losing 3-0 to Forest Green Rovers.

Elsewhere, Sporting Bengal United travel to Ware, bringing back memories of their debut in The Cup three years ago.

Ware won that day but Bengal's Extra Preliminary Round win against London Colney, their first FA Cup win in their history, will give the Londoners confidence ahead of tie.
