Folkestone Invicta will be hoping to progress from their FA Cup Preliminary Round replay on Tuesday night to hand them the chance of ending their hoodoo over Ramsgate in the next round.

Invicta face Sevenoaks Town for the second time in four days after an extraordinary 4-4 draw on Saturday. Sevenoaks were ahead for most of the game before a stirring comeback saw Folksestone take a 4-3 lead with just seven minutes remaining - only for a cruel own goal in stoppage time to send the tie to a replay.

Invicta club secretary Neil Pilcher said: "After a game like that, I don't have a clue what will happen in the replay! If our defence is not so generous then we might have a chance.

"If I'm honest I thought we had won it. But Sevenoaks probably deserved a draw for refusing to give in and battling on. It is one of those games that The FA Cup can throw up."

Lying in wait for the victors of the replay are Ramsgate, a side that Folkestone know all too well from their Ryman Premier Division days, and they are keen to set the record straight.

"They always seem to get one over us, so it would be nice to actually beat them if we did get through," Pilcher added.

"It would obviously be a very difficult game if we win the replay, but after Saturday frankly anything could happen."
