Billingham Synthonia beat Glasshoughton Welfare 5-1 as another batch of Extra Premlinary Round replays took place on Wednesday night.
The home side dominated the opening exchanges and hit the woodwork twice but it was Glasshoughton who surprisingly opened the scoring after 20 minutes. Matthew Jackson got on the end of a long free kick and headed past Peter Keen.
Billingham fought back though and equalised after 24 minutes through Tyson Masters who was on hand to net from close range after a fumble from the keeper.
Early in the second half Synners took the lead as Masters added his second before Michael Jameson made it 3-1, again from close in.
Two further goals in the final 15 minutes from James Magowan and Colin Iley put the gloss on the performance for the home side and they now face fellow Northern League opponents Morpeth Town or Ryton in a home tie in the next round.
Elsewhere, Goodrich lost out to Meir KA on penalties after the game ended 4-4 after extra time. Although they were 3-1 up and playing against 10 men for 25 minutes they could not hold on and once Meir equalised on the stroke of full-time, the writing was on the wall.
Other big results saw Lye Town beat Brocton 5-1 and Flackwell Heath demolish Wootton Bassett Town 6-1 away from home. Falmouth Town, Bitton and Calne Town all also progressed after recording easy wins in their replays.
