Havant & Waterlooville will travel to Anfield to face Liverpool in the Fourth Round of The FA Cup after producing a stunning display to beat League One side Swansea City 4-2 at Westleigh Park.

The Conference South side proved that the magic of the world's oldest cup competition is alive and well by racing into a three-goal lead within 37 minutes against a team 83 places above them in the football pyramid.

Despite a spirited response from Roberto Martinez's high-flying Swans, the only non-League side left in the competition are set for the day of their lives against seven-times winners Liverpool in ten days' time.

It took only four minutes for Shaun Gale's non-League men to take the lead, as Mo Harkin's dangerous cross was headed into his own net by Gary Monk under pressure from Richard Pacquette.

And the Hawks doubled their lead 20 minutes later as captain Jamie Collins fired home through a crowded penalty area to spark scenes of delirium in this part of Hampshire.

Rocky Baptiste, who scored the late equaliser when the teams drew their first meeting 1-1 in Wales, then tapped home to make it three, before the shell-shocked visitors pulled one back through Guillem Bauza.

Stunningly, there was still time for more drama in the first-half as goalkeeper Kevin Scriven maintained Havant's 3-1 lead with a penalty save from Leon Britten.

Swansea were determined not to go out without a fight, though, and Jason Scotland reduced the arrears moments after the break, slotting home a rebound, but Tom Jordan maintained the two-goal advantage with 25 minutes left, flicking home a header from Brett Poate's cross.

And that was to prove sufficient for the part-timers, who will travel to Anfield full of hope that they may be able to cause the biggest upset in FA Cup history.
