Stuart Beavon will join Craig Farrell, Andy Forbes, Matt Townley and Jack Pitcher at The FA Cup Final next May after winning the Player of the Round award for the First Round.

Stuart received his award yesterday and receives two VIP tickets to The Final at Wembley. Stuart said: "Who knows I may not even need the tickets if we continue getting good results starting against Cambridge in the Second Round a week on Saturday.

"Either way I can't wait for The Final in May, if Weymouth don't get there I'll be taking a mate from back home in Reading."

Along with the tickets and a personalised trophy, Stuart is also asked to donate £500 worth of football equipment to a school of his choice, all courtesy of FA Cup sponsors E.ON.

Stuart won the award after a seven minute hat-trick in the First Round in Weymouth's 4-0 victory at Eastbourne Borough.

On receiving his prize Beavon said: "It's a great award and I feel proud to have won it, last season players like Lampard and Rooney won it, so on a personal level it's a great achievement to be associated with players like them.

"Many thanks to E.ON for the tickets and the football equipment, which will go along way at a local school down here in Weymouth."
