Rushall Olympic are possibly best known for producing Aston Villa defender Zat Knight and selling him to Fulham for a set of tracksuits.

Now the Southern League Division One Midlands team are preparing to really put the club on the map by continuing their fairytale FA Cup run with a win at York City in Saturday's Fourth Round Qualifying tie.

The Walsall-based team secured their place at this stage by beating Hednesford Town and are sending two coaches to York - one for the players and officials, the other for supporters.

Former Football League club York, meanwhile, will hope to draw on their famous FA Cup history; they were Semi-Finalists in 1955 and recorded one of the great trophy's biggest ever upsets in the Fourth Round of 1985 when they beat Arsenal 1-0.

York have had a largely disappointing start to their season in the Blue Square Premier League Table, but form has picked up recently.

Club Secretary Nick Bassett said: "We have eradicated some of our silly mistakes and that has helped. We are looking forward to continuing this form in what is obviously a special occasion."

York are expected to beat their mid-table opposition, but anything can happen with a place in the First Round proper up for grabs.

"In terms of both football and finance, a tie against Leeds United or Nottingham Forest would be fantastic," an optimistic Bassett added.

"But we would also welcome a local derby against Darlington or Hartlepool. The Cup is important because it keeps the season alive, the money flowing through, and everyone involved with the club in a state of excitement."
