One of the features of this weekend's FA Cup Preliminary Round is the number of local derbies that it throws up, and not many games will provoke more rivalry than AFC Sudbury against Bury Town.
Only 12 miles separates the two Suffolk clubs, who both compete in Ryman League North, and with only two points the gap between second-placed Sudbury and fourth-placed Bury, competition will be fierce.
The ambition of the two teams mirror each other closely, as they were promoted together two years ago, and have both focused on promotion for the season ahead.
AFC Sudbury are confident that victory will spur Mark Morsley's side on to an extended Cup run and promotion.
"We're looking very good at the moment," explains Sudbury Vice-Chairman Peter Scott.
"We've won three games out of four in the league and we're very hopeful that we will get a good result against Bury."
For clubs such as AFC Sudbury, FA Vase Finalists in 2003, 2004 and 2005, an extended Cup run can also act as a huge financial boost, and the benefits of beating their local rivals in the first Preliminary Round are obvious to Scott.
"Like any club, we cut our cloth according to what we can afford, but as any minnow would say the financial gains from winning some ties in The Cup are huge.
"In 1999 we reached the First Round Proper and played Darlington. We lost 6-1 after scoring first, but what was more important was the attention the club received. We attracted a number of new fans and it really helped us out.
"As Saturday's game is a local derby, we are hoping for a bumper crowd - I think we should get around 500, which is more than we would normally expect.
"There's so much expectation with everyone looking forward to the tie. And we're all confident as well - I think Sudbury will win 2-1, and local pride will be ours!"
