Team Northumbria, a side made up of students from Northumbria University, were given a bit of a lesson in their FA Cup Extra Preliminary round clash with Consett.
Consett, who play one division higher than Northumbria in the Northern League Division One, ran away with the game and returned home with an 11-0 victory under their belts.
However, they were not the biggest winners on Saturday, with Dereham Town of the Eastern Counties Premier thrashing Fakenham Town from Division One by 12-0. Amazingly, there were 10 different scorers with Sam Willis and Sam Bryant the only players to net more than once.
Sussex County Premier outfit Crowborough were another side to pile on the goals as they won 7-1 away at Epsom and Ewell who play in the Combined Counties Premier.
There was also a great result for FA Cup newcomers Meir KA as they marked their first ever match in the competition since they were formed in 1972 with a superb 3-0 win away at Gornal.
And Cockfosters, who have never played in The FA Cup despite being formed way back in 1921, also made a dream start as goals from Dan O'Connor, Aaron Tourlamain and Jon Moniatis helped them to a 3-2 victory at home to Southend Manor.
