The mantelpiece in Ryan Giggs’ house is creaking under the weight of winners’ medals, but he believes there is room for at least one more.
Since making his debut for Manchester United as a 17-year-old, the Welsh winger recently took his total to 23 with a record ninth Premiership title.
United take on Chelsea in the 126th FA Cup Final on Saturday, the first at the brand new Wembley Stadium, and Giggs admits wants further silverware as he aims to win The FA Cup for a fifth time.
He said: "This is what we all wanted at United. In the last couple of years it hasn’t really happened for us. Our seasons have sort of fizzled out.
"It is a bit of a contrast this season and we had runs in all of the competitions. That is exactly what we wanted. We had games every three days and they were all important games.
"We just want to be involved in everything and our job is to get to keep our feet on the ground on the big occasion."
Giggs added: "When you are 19, 20 and 21 you think the end is never going to come. But when you get into your 30s you can see the finishing line.
"I may only have a couple of years left and that really drives me on.
"You really want to enjoy these [Cup Final] days because in a few years time you realise you may not be doing it any more - but the only way you can enjoy it is by winning trophies."
