While Chelsea are still eyeing their place at Wembley as they prepare to face Blackburn Rovers in the Semi-Final, one man has his place assured as Frank Lampard has been voted the 'Player of the Sixth Round'.
Lampard has won a VIP trip to this year's The FA Cup Final for two people, complete with full hospitality, courtesy of competition sponsors E.ON. The player with the most votes will also secure £500 of football equipment to donate to a local school of his choice.
Frank Lampard was nominated for his two goals that helped Chelsea fight back from the brink of defeat at home to Tottenham Hotspur.
After Spurs had taken the lead at Stamford Bridge through Dimitar Berbatov, Lampard made a late run into the box before slotting home the equaliser.
His second was a pure poach. With Spurs seemingly in the Semi-Final having taken a 3-1 lead, Lampard swept home from close range to begin the comeback, which Salomon Kalou completed with a stunning volley just moments later.
The Chelsea midfielder staved off competition from Ben Foster, Julio Arca, Berbatov and Danny Shittu to take the prize.
