Richard Naylor admits that FA Cup fever has yet to reach boiling point in Ipswich, but that could all change if they get a good result against Watford this weekend.

Jim Magilton's side has so far beaten Chester City and Swansea City in the competition this season, both by narrow 1-0 margins.

But they now face a much tougher test when they visit the Premiership strugglers in the Fifth Round.

And Naylor feels a decent performance at Vicarage Road will really get the Suffolk town buzzing.

He said: "Our results in The FA Cup have not been spectacular, so to say there has been Cup Fever in Ipswich is a bit of an overstatement.

"But if we can get a victory over Watford then people will really start thinking about what can happen in the competition this season.

"It would be great if we could maybe play against Chelsea or Manchester United, but first we have to really focus on Watford.

"They are a similar size club to us, but they are in the Premiership and obviously have some great players.

"We think we can compete with them, but if we had to settle for a draw to take them back to Portman Road for a replay I am sure there would be a bit of a buzz around the place."
