Despite taking the lead through Michael Carrick on the stroke of half time, Reading held Man Utd to a 1-1 draw.

Adam Federici will be at The FA Cup Final this season after being voted the 'Player of the Fifth Round' by fans on TheFA.com, following his fantastic performance at Old Trafford nine days ago.

The Reading goalkeeper took 38% of the votes with Robbie Keane his closest competitor in the race, the Irish striker was tantalisingly close on 35% following his splendid brace at Craven Cottage during Spurs' 4-0 victory.

Federici also held off the challenge of fellow keeper Brad Friedal, Middlesbrough striker Yakubu and Plymouth Argyle's David Norris.

Federici joins Jamie McAllister, Jason Puncheon, Phil Jevons, Kris Commons, Paul Booth, Byron Bubb, Gary McPhee and Matt Lewis in The FA Cup Team of the season who have all earned VIP Passes for two at this season's FA Cup Final.

Federici also will be presented with a solid silver salver along with a kit bag of training equipment which he can donate to a local school of his choice - all courtesey of new FA Cup sponsor E.ON.

A select panel of judges - Mark Clemmit (BBC Radio Five), Walter Gammie (The Times), Ricky George (Daily Telegraph), David Watters (Editor, The Non League Paper) and Nick Horler (E.ON’s Managing Director, Retail) - put forward their selections each round to create a shortlist which is then voted for by the fans.
