Manchester United 1-1 Reading
Brynjar Gunnarsson:
"We went a goal down but did really well to get back in the game. I’m really looking forward to taking on United in the replay at Madejski Stadium. We did well to get the goal back, especially after conceding at such a crucial stage of the game.
"We have to fancy our chances at the Madejski. There is no secret to how we play -we simply work hard for each other as a team."
Steve Coppell
"Playing against United is tough and daunting. When you look at the depth of their squad, whoever you face is going to pose danger right across the field.
"We did well after going one down just before half-time. We felt we could get back in the game and, once we did, the match was end to end stuff.
"I felt as long as we kept playing, we would eventually get a chance. It was a question of whether we would take it - and we did, I’m looking forward to the replay now."
Sir Alex Ferguson
"I was very happy with the performance, I felt we deserved to win but did not put in a great performance. We played a lot of reserve players and they did very well. It was a fantastic game and a good advert for The FA Cup.
"I’m not worried about the replay with the squad we have and, with no back log in fixtures, it is simply not an issue. We didn’t make the most of our chances and in that respect Reading got the bit of luck they needed to force the replay."
Arsenal 0-0 Blackburn
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger
"We lacked spark and were a little bit flat but we were unlucky not to get a penalty.
"They stopped the game as much as they could. We wanted to qualify in one match - but now it will go to a second.
"The problem is not Blackburn - the problem is finding a solution when teams defend deeply - and we couldn't find that today."
Blackburn manager Mark Hughes:
"We came here with a game plan and put it into practice. We kept them quiet and kept their chances to a bare minimum - and we were not troubled.
"We are the first British team to stop them scoring at the Emirates. We dictated where we wanted them to play the game and we made them play in areas that they didn't want to."
Plymouth 2-0 Derby
Plymouth manager Ian Holloway:
"We had a bit of luck but we earned it, and this was as comprehensive a display as we've had this season.
"From the very beginning we set about them and that was pleasing.
"We missed the penalty but we didn't show a soft under-belly and I am delighted at the way we played against a team at the top of our division."
Derby manager Billy Davies:
"In the opening 45 minutes, they handled the conditions better. They scrapped and got their opening goal and that proved crucial.
"But in the second half, we were better and came back into the match.
"We knew it would be a heavy pitch and that we would have to deal with the long ball, but they got themselves sorted out more quickly than we did.
"We also had Darren Moore sent off and that was a turning point in the game."
Middlesbrough 2-2 West Brom
Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate:
"We do love a replay at this club, that's for sure. I thought we were a bit flat after Tuesday's replay against Bristol City - the players and crowd probably felt drained after that.
"But the important thing is we are still in the competition. West Brom are a Premiership side in all but name and they put on a really good performance, so we had to be on our guard.
"It won't be easy going there for the replay, but we know we have the players to turn it on and push us forward in this competition."
West Brom manager Tony Mowbray:
"We could probably have done without the replay given that we are going well in the league and hopefully pushing for promotion.
"But I'm proud of my players and there is no harm in putting in fine performances - which is what we've done here against a good Premiership side.
"We conceded goals at bad times, but fought back well and that shows the spirit and character we have in the camp."
Watford 1-0 Ipswich
Watford manager Aidy Boothroyd:
"It was a good game but we did not do that well for the first 85 minutes and they were better than us.
"We know we can play better. It is great to be in the last eight of The FA Cup but it will be even better when we know whom we have got in the next round.
"The players who came in have done really well for us - and they defended particularly well. That was vital."
Chelsea 4-0 Norwich
Chelsea Coach Jose Mourinho:
"In the first half, they played better than us and probably should have scored.
"Our second goal killed the game and after that it was easy for us, but the result didn’t really reflect the reality of the game."
Norwich Manager Peter Grant:
"We performed excellently well. I thought we were always in the game and we probably deserved a better result."
