Seven London clubs are playing at home in this weekend's FA Cup Fourth Round - and that hasn't happened before in the whole 135-year history of the world-famous competition.

Saturday's matches are West Ham United v Watford, Tottenham Hotspur v Southend United, Barnet v Plymouth Argyle, Crystal Palace v Preston North End and Fulham v Stoke City.

On Sunday it's Arsenal v Bolton Wanderers and Chelsea v Nottingham Forest, both live on TV.

Barnet are included on the basis that their ground is in the London Borough of Barnet. If they weren't included, it would still leave six London clubs at home - something that hasn't happened for more than half a century.

Here is a rundown of those Fourth Round ties in London in 1956, when six clubs from the capital were last drawn at home, with the results:-

Arsenal v Aston Villa (4-1)
Charlton Athletic v Swindon Town (2-1)
Fulham v Newcastle United (4-5)
Leyton Orient v Birmingham City (0-4)
Tottenham Hotspur v Middlesbrough (3-1)
West Ham United v Cardiff City (2-1)

So none of the six ties went to a replay.

By contrast...only one London club was drawn at home in the Fourth Round in seasons 2003-04, 1998-99, 1976-77, 1975-76, 1970-71, 1960-61 and 1959-60.
