Phil Jevons is determined that his FA Cup Player of the Round award will not be his only highlight in the competition this season.

The Bristol City striker claimed the honour in the last round after netting a hat-trick in the 4-3 win over Gillingham.

His prize is a VIP trip for two to The FA Cup Final in May and £500-worth of sports equipment for a local school.

But with a Third Round clash at home to Coventry City now looming, Jevons is determined to keep the run of success going.

Bristol City have gone 12 games unbeaten since mid-November, and Jevons said: "I think the Third Round game against Coventry is a very winnable match. We have home advantage and there is bound to be a great atmosphere in the stadium.

"The FA Cup is a great competition because of the glory if you do well.

"I think if you ask most players to choose between an FA Cup winners' medal or promotion with their club, they would take the first one every single time.

"That's why we are looking to go as far as we can and, when you see teams like Millwall getting to the Final recently, you think that anything is possible."
