The FA Cup sponsored by E.ON
Fourth Round Qualifying
Saturday 28 October 2006
Winning clubs receive £10,000

The draw for the Fourth Round Qualifying of The FA Cup was made on Monday at Soho Square, and it has thrown up some interesting ties.

The lowest ranked side remaining in the competition, Haverhill Rovers who are sixth in the Eastern Counties League's First Division, have a home tie against Conference National outfit Aldershot Town to look forward to.

Haverhill are one of 12 sides in the draw who have never made it to the First Round Proper, and another of those sides, Newcastle Benfield (Bay Plastics), take on York City who made the Semi-Finals back in 1955 - when they lost on a replay to the eventual winners Newcastle United.

The top two sides in the Conference meet, Dagenham and Redbridge taking on Oxford, while Burton Albion return to the competition for the first time since their historic visit to Old Trafford after holding Man Utd to a 0-0 draw.

Grays Athletic, The FA Trophy holders, have a home tie to Bromley while AFC Wimbledon travel to Exeter City.
