Ahead of Saturday's FA Cup Final we reveal the lineup of The FA Cup 'Team of Heroes' as voted for by you the fans. The competition began to commemorate the incredible contribution of the players in 125 years - and after more than 10,000 votes we have our team.

Eric Cantona made such an impression on Manchester United fans that his name is still sung by the Old Trafford faithful.

But it was not just inside the Theatre of Dreams where the mercurial Frenchman was admired, as football fans across the country have voted for Cantona in their numbers, earning him a place in our dream team.

Cantona won four Premiership titles in five years including two League and FA Cup doubles. This led the United fans to nickname him 'The King.'

In his first season at Old Trafford he helped United win the inaugural Premier League title. And Cantona's first FA Cup exploits came in the 1993/4 season.

In a Fifth Round Replay away to Wimbledon, Cantona scored a stunning volley to set United on the way to a 3-0 win. But it was in The Final that he really took centre stage.

The Red Devils had already secured another Premiership title before they faced Chelsea at Wembley. It was predicted to be a tight affair, but United strolled to victory with Cantona becoming the first player ever to score two penalties in the same Final in a 4-0 win.

And he continued his FA Cup Final scoring habit in 1996.

The French international had already scored four goals in United's journey to The Final where they faced Liverpool in their search for another League and Cup double.

And with the game seemingly heading for extra-time, Cantona popped up on the edge of the area to smash in the winning goal with seconds remaining.

By the time he had retired, Cantona's FA Cup goalscoring record stood at an impressive 13 goals in 19 appearances - a fitting return for a key striker in your 'Team of Heroes'.

Log on this Friday to find out who will manage our Team of Heroes.
