Chelsea are to host Newcastle United in the pick of the quarter final draw of the FA Cup held to day at FA headquarters in Soho Square.
Scott Parker, Newcastle United Former Chelsea player Scott Parker was looking forward to going back to his old club.
He said: "There's no doubt it is a tough draw, and it is obviously the toughest draw we could have asked for. Chelsea are a quality side, they have strength in depth all over the pitch and it will be a massive test for us.
"But we won't be afraid of going there, because we have a lot of quality as well. When you get to the quarter finals you are down to the nitty gritty, and if you are going to win the FA Cup then you have to beat the best teams around.
"It will be a special game for me, of course, because I had a lot of happy times at Chelsea. I have been back once already this season when we lost 3-0, so hopefully it will be a better outcome for us this time around."

Alan Curbishley, Charlton Athletic First out of the hat were Charlton who were drawn at home to Middlesbough - which suited manager Alan Curbishley.
He said: "We got a home draw and that is all we can ask for. I came out of The Valley at the weekend and said that I expected only Premiership teams to be left and everyone was hoping to have home advantage.
"We only play Middlesbrough a week before in the league, so we will know a bit about each other.
"The big boys are still in there and we have to take advantage of the home tie. We have been in quarter finals before but we have been drawn away and it is nice to get the home draw - It will be a big day for us." |
Ugo Ehiogu, Middlesbrough Middlesbrough defender Ugu Ehiogu was expecting a tight match. He said: "All of the draws are going to be a bit cagey and I think one goal for either side, but i think we are all quite happy with this draw." |
Rafeal Benitez, Liverpool Birmingham got the all important home draw too and will have to face European Champions at St Andrews. Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez told the BBC he is hopeful Blues they will be more concerned with their relegation battle than the Cup.
"At this stage, with all Premiership clubs you've got to play good teams," said Benitez. "Maybe Birmingham will be more concerned about their league position and this might not be as important to them as staying in the division.
"I feel I've got a big enough squad to cope with playing in three competitions and all I can say is that I'd have rather been drawn at home." |
