The Gosport Borough striker hit two superb goals against Eastbourne Town, including a last-minute winner, to clinch Gosport Borough’s 2 - 1 win.
Hot on his heels is Howard Forinton who scored four goals in Halesowen Town's 5-3 win over South Normanton Athletic. His seven-minute hat-trick before half-time certainly caught the eye of The Daily Telegraph’s football writer Ricky George who put him forward.
Following them are hat-trick hero John Frendo whose goals contributed to Hendon’s 6-0 victory over Biggleswade, and Steve Davey, who blasted four goals past Clitheroe in Goole’s 5-3 victory.
