Click here to jump to The FA.com homepage where you can cast your vote.Four FA Cup heroes who hit the headlines this weekend with outstanding FA Cup performances have been shortlisted for The FA’s ‘Player of the Round’ award, run in partnership with UMBRO. The winner will be the first player to join The Team of The FA Cup, guaranteeing him VIP attendance at the 125th FA Cup Final that is scheduled to be the first match at the new Wembley Stadium, on 13 May 2006.
The four nominees notched up fifteen goals between them as they fired their teams into the Second Round Qualifying.

Gosport Borough striker Jamie Laidlaw put two superb goals past Eastbourne Town’s keeper, including a last-minute winner, to clinch Gosport Borough’s 2 - 1 win.
Hat-trick hero John Frendo of Hendon earned himself a nomination from BBC Radio 5 Live’s Mark Clemmit after scoring three goals inside 73 minutes to contribute to Hendon’s 6-0 victory over Biggleswade.
Laidlaw and Frendo are joined by two other nominees in line for The FA Cup Player of the Round award, Halesowen Town’s Howard Forinton and Goole’s Steve Davey, who each netted four goals.
Forinton’s outstanding contribution, including a seven-minute hat-trick before half-time that saw his side win 5-3 over South Normanton Athletic, was highlighted by The Daily Telegraph’s football writer Ricky George who put him forward. Ricky George also selected Goole’s striker Steve Davey, who blasted four goals past Clitheroe in Goole’s 5-3 victory.
Fans are now being urged to vote for the players in an on-line poll on the
homepage of TheFA.com Fans have just seven days to register their support as votes must be cast by 9.00am on Monday, 19 September.

The player who secures the most votes will be crowned FA Cup ‘Player of the Round' and will win £1000 worth of UMBRO football kit for a local school, club or organisation of his choice.
The successful player will also receive an engraved silver salver as well as becoming the first player to join The Team of The FA Cup.
The Team of The FA Cup will comprise Player of the Round winners from the First Round Qualifying to the Semi-Final. In the last two years several Premiership players have featured in the team alongside non-League players, including Jose Antonio Reyes, Freddie Ljungberg, Shay Given and Ruud van Nistelrooy.
