The 125th FA Cup will have a record number of 674 entries; the previous highest was last season, in fact, when 661 clubs entered the competition.  Before that the record was held since 1921/22 when there were 656 entries.

The FA Trophy is in its 37th Season and will have 221 entries, one more than last year. All the entries are drawn from the Football Conference, Isthmian, Northern Premier and Southern Leagues.
