The Conference side have become the first non-league team to have two players in The FA's 'Team of The FA Cup'. Team-mate Dean Moxey scooped the Player of the Round award for his performance in The FA Cup Second Round.

Now Jones is the seventh player to join the prestigious 'Team of The FA Cup', guaranteeing him FA Cup glory alongside Moxey as a VIP guest at The FA Cup Final next May at the Millennium Stadium and a half-time introduction to the crowd.

Jones dealt superbly with everything that Manchester United's under-performing stars threw at him in The FA Cup Third Round shock 0-0 draw, earning the non-League underdogs a chance of more FA Cup glory in the replay at St. James' Park this Wednesday.

Fans voted all week for The FA Cup Player of the Round on-line at TheFA.com, with Jones leading the poll and gaining 50% of the votes cast.

Premiership striker Kevin Phillips of Southampton came in second with 23% of the vote, followed by Oldham Athletic's Les Pogliacomi with 12%.

Sheffield United's striker Andy Liddell polled 8%, while fifth place went to Yeading's David Clarke with 7%.

Jones has won £1000 worth of UMBRO football kit and equipment for a local school, club or organisation of his choice. He will also be presented with an engraved silver salver.

The "Team of The FA Cup" will comprise Player of the Round winners from the First Qualifying Round to the Semi-Final.

Last year's team included five non-League players, as well as Premiership stars Jose Antonio Reyes, Freddie Ljungberg and Bruno Cheyrou.
