Two late goals kept us in the competition, but to be honest I would have preferred to have a league game after our game up at Old Trafford. We showed good character and it was obviously very different from the United game but I was pleased with my players.

Now we can start getting our minds on the game against Man United on Wednesday. Of course we are looking forward to it and we know they could put out a very strong team. But I will not try to second guess how they will line-up.

Whoever Ferguson selects, we know it will be a tough tie. We really appreciate the support we have been getting from people all over the country, but my players know that the fairytale will be over if we lose on Wednesday.

All the media attention will go away, and the spotlight will be off us - but we know that will not mark the end of our season.

The league is our main focus and everyone here knows that. Of course the Cup is great but once we go out no one will want to know us.

For now though we are fully focused on this game with United. We will prepare like any other game and I will ensure my players do not get carried away.

With the big game just two days away we are all looking forward to it, and I'll speak to you tomorrow to update you on how the side is shaping up ahead of the match.
