THE FA CUP PLAYER OF THE ROUND
The FA Cup Player of The Round Award
Who's in the team
The FA Cup Player of the Round Award, in partnership with UMBRO, is back. Here are this season's winners so far, helping to make up the Team of The FA Cup for 2004-05

This year a media panel; Ricky George of The Daily Telegraph, and scorer of one of the most famous FA Cup goals in Hereford United's giantkilling of Newcastle United in 1972, Stuart Robertson of The Independent, Walter Gammie of The Times, David Watters of the Non League Paper and Mark Clemmit of BBC Five Live will determine the nominees for each award.
Fans will then have just seven days to register their support.
The player who secures the most votes, as well as being crowned 'Player of the Round', will win £1000 worth of UMBRO football kit and equipment for a local school, club or organisation of his choice.
He will also receive an engraved silver salver and will join The Team of The FA Cup, guaranteeing VIP attendance at The FA Cup Final at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday 21 May 2005 with a chance-of-a-lifetime introduction to the crowd pitch-side at half time.
The Team of The FA Cup will comprise Player of the Round winners from the First Qualifying Round to the Semi-Final. Last year's team included five non-League players as well as Premiership stars Bruno Cheyrou, Jose Antonio Reyes and Freddie Ljungberg.
