After lining up in The FA’s first ever ‘Team of The FA Cup’ at The FA Cup Final tomorrow in Cardiff, Jeff will be in Canvey Island’s squad for The FA Trophy Trophy, in partnership with Carlsberg, at Aston Villa on Sunday.

As Jeff looked forward to his dream cup weekend, The FA took The FA Cup and The FA Trophy to the Park Lane club. Pupils from the nearby Leigh Beck County Junior School were also given the chance to see the magnificent trophies.

The 29-year-old midfielder said: "It really is going to be a dream weekend. I’ve never been to an FA Cup Final before and I’ve never played in an FA Trophy Final so it’s going to be a real weekend to remember."

The Team of The FA Cup will comprise the 11 winners of the Player of the Round Award, which has been running in partnership with UMBRO since the First Qualifying Round.

Jeff scored a match-winning hat-trick for Canvey Island in their 4-3 win over Dover Athletic in the Third Qualifying Round, having trailed 3-1 with nine minutes to go.

The former Spurs trainee and ex-Brighton, Port Vale and Rotherham player polled 50 per cent of the thousands of votes cast online here at TheFA.com.

Jeff was presented with an UMBRO kit player package including XAI boots and training kit, and an engraved FA silver salver.

He also received £1,000 worth of football kit and equipment from FA partner UMBRO that he has donated to PASS Soccer School, which runs coaching courses in conjunction with Chelsea FC for children in Essex.

Jeff said: "It’s a great school and I was really pleased to be able to present them with such a lot of kit and equipment to help with the work they are doing."

As a member of The Team of The FA Cup, Jeff will receive VIP treatment at The FA Cup Final on 22 May and will be honoured on the pitch before the Cardiff crowd.

Jeff said: "It’s great to get this recognition and it will be a great honour to walk out onto the pitch."

Following the Final, The FA will transport Jeff to Birmingham where he will meet up with his Canvey Island team-mates on the eve of The FA Trophy Final.

Jeff scored four goals to help Canvey Island reach the final of the nation’s most prestigious non-League cup competition for a second time.

The newly-promoted Conference side, who overcame Forest Green Rovers to win The FA Trophy in 2001, will take on Hednesford Town, who missed out on promotion to the Conference from the Southern Premier League.

Jeff added: "The FA Trophy is non-League’s FA Cup and getting to the Final is a fantastic achievement for all the players involved – and playing at Villa Park tops it off."

As Jeff took one last look at The FA Cup and The FA Trophy, he said: "I just hope it’s victory for Millwall and for Canvey. That really would make it a great weekend!"
