As we reach the Semi-Final stage of this season's FA Cup, the draw for which will be made this afternoon at Soho Square, TheFA.com brings you up to date with details of The FA's Prize Fund and Broadcast payments.
The Prize Fund payment for winning a Sixth Round tie is £400,000 and the TV money is £265,000 to each club for matches broadcast live.
In the Semi-Finals of The Cup, there is no set prize fund. However, the winners of both ties reach the Final, guaranteeing them a minimum of £1million, with the overall FA Cup winners collecting £2million after the match in Cardiff.
The Semi-Final gate receipts are split evenly between the four competing clubs. After a 5.5% share has been allocated to The FA for distribution to Affiliated Associations and payments are made to the staging venues, the remainder is distributed as follows:-
The four clubs get 65% of the combined gate receipts to be divided equally, 25% goes to The FA to be distributed as above and 10% to the Cup pool.
