Neville is an experienced campaigner in The Cup, having already played in three Semi-Finals in 1995, 1996 and 1999.

However, this is the first time in five years that United have reached the last four and now they know that they'll have to beat the mighty Gunners if they are to reach May's Final at the Millennium Stadium.

After the draw was made, Neville said he thought that the Red Devils would be paired against their great Premiership rivals.

"I had a sneaky feeling it was going to be Arsenal," Neville said, "but whatever Final it is going to be this season, it is still an FA Cup Final and one we are desperate to get to.

"Tranmere, Millwall and Sunderland have all got to this stage and have deserved to come this far, so people shouldn't forget about their achievements."

Neville is looking forward to facing Arsene Wenger's side and feels it could be a great match, rather like the 1999 replay - the last time the sides met at this stage of the competition.

"You normally find that the semi-finals are better games and probably more exciting than the actual Final," he added.

"There is all the excitement of getting to the Final, so when it comes and you go to Wembley or Cardiff the games often don't live up to expectations - and the semi-finals are where the best games of football are, because both sets of players are going out to try to get to that Final.

"Nobody will forget the two semi-finals we played against Arsenal the last time we got as far in this competition."
