Last night's replay of their Fourth Round tie in The FA Trophy against Conference rivals Southport ended in defeat for Paul Terry and Dagenham & Redbridge.

Southport won 4-3 on penalty kicks after the game was level 2-2 after extra time.

Hopes of the famous footballing family winning prestigious silverware this season now rest with Paul's younger brother John and Chelsea who face Stoke City in the Fifth Round of The FA Cup later this month.

Southport will now travel to Gloucester City in the Fifth Round of The FA Trophy to be played on February 22.

The Dr Martens Western side overcame three-time former FA Trophy winners Woking 2-0 in a replay of their Fourth Round tie last night.

Elsewhere, Wakefield & Emley won their Fourth Round replay last night over Ryman Premier outfit Hendon 1-0 after extra time.

They will now be away to their Unibond Premier rivals Burscough after they beat Alfreton Town, from Unibond Division One, 2-0 in a replay also played last night.

There are still three outstanding ties in the Fourth Round of The FA Trophy to be decided.

The game between Ryman Division One South side Windsor & Eton and Vauxhall Motors, from Unibond Premier, ended 1-1 last night.

The replay is now due to be played on February 11 along with the postponed matches between Scarborough and Dover Athletic and Worksop Town and Hayes.
